Hotel Il Verde Kyoto

Comfortable stay with free drinks at the restaurant.

The air-conditioning unit was filthy when I arrived. Despite notifying the staff, they couldn't move me to another room, claiming there was no space, yet several rooms were available online. The noise from the street was unbearable with the window open, and the cleaning service for the air-conditioner was inadequate, leaving me with respiratory concerns for my entire stay.

The breakfast was included.

Perfect and decent position, I appreciated staying in this place.

The rooms themselves were high-class with 3 single beds. It was convenient having central heating, an electronic key card, and a multi-channel television.

Breakfast timing was limited, but I loved the free happy hour drinks every evening! Friendly staff and comfortable bed.

The rooms are high-class and functional with great view as well as decent sized bath. The hotel has a perfect and excellent location, right next to an Eastern temple. It is located walking distance to restaurants and cafes. The venue is walking distance to a tube station.

It has functional high standard rooms, that come with comfortable bed as well as great view.

I stayed for 6 nights at Il Verde and found it to be a solid choice for business travel. The staff's cheerful demeanor and multilingual abilities enhanced the check-in experience. The hotel also features a manga corner and a lounge for relaxation. The proximity to Shichijo station and several convenience stores was convenient for after-work errands. The amenities, including a bathtub and automated toilet, met my expectations as well.

The bathroom cleanliness needs improvement.

Good choice of products for a satisfactory breakfast. Unbeatable and exceptionally nice setting and restaurants and cafes walking distance to the hotel. Very helpful and amazingly friendly staff, perfect stay👍

I had a lovely time during my stay, especially enjoying the happy hour where we met some fun folks and the laundromat was super convenient for freshening up our clothes. The jacuzzi and tranquil garden were perfect spots to unwind after a busy day. One small downside was that the breakfast selection could use a bit more variety, but overall, I had a great visit! 😊

Family with children cozy retreat

The front desk staff were always cheerful and greeted us warmly. They helped during check-in and even spoke several languages!

It wasn't exactly a bargain,, but it wasn't completely awful either.

The location was convenient, just a short walk to the metro and bus stops. The room was well-designed and everything was super clean, with great amenities including a TV with Netflix options. Breakfast offered good vegetarian choices, and the free-flowing happy hour was a fantastic surprise. The distance from the main station was a bit inconvenient, and the room size felt cramped at times, which might not suit everyone.

Perfect for a solo chill

I stayed just one night in a single room, and it was awesome! Super clean and quiet. The shower had crazy good pressure. The staff were friendly and helpful, and there's a nice snack bar to grab a quick bite. Just a bit of a walk to the nearest train station, but not a big deal.

Loved the fast wifi and enjoyed using the washing machines. The quietness really helped us unwind after long days out. Staff, heartwarming.

It was just a prime choice for getting around the area in Kyoto with high value for money. The ironing board in my room was surprisingly clean, made a difference. Try to ask for a room away from the street for less noise.

I had previously stayed in kyoto, but il verde exceeded my expectations this time. The views from my room were lovely, and the staff made everything so enjoyable. Having a happy hour to chat with fellow guests was a highlight!
